Fortlane Partners advised GBS TEMPEST & Service GmbH ("GBS") on the acquisition of Cordsen Engineering GmbH ("Cordsen"). Cordsen, headquartered in Seligenstadt, Germany, is a provider of eavesdropping-secure IT hardware solutions that meet the stringent requirements for sensitive data.

 

The acquisition of Cordsen marks a significant step for both companies, which specialize in TEMPEST technologies within Germany as well as the NATO and EU environments.

 

Ömer Çevik, Managing Director of GBS, will also assume the role of Managing Director of Cordsen. The merger of Cordsen into GBS is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.

 

Fortlane Partners acted as sole and exclusive M&A buy-side advisor to GBS. This transaction demonstrates and underscores Fortlane Partners' ability and expertise in successfully executing M&A transactions in security-sensitive industries such as defense and IT security/ electronics.
