Fortlane Partners advised CONSTELLATION Energy GmbH, an investment company of CONSTELLATION Capital AG („CONSTELLATION“) with a Red-Flag Commercial Due Diligence on the acquisition of Sonalis GmbH and Sonalis Luxembourg S.A. ("Sonalis"), a fast-growing and leading provider of roof-top photovoltaic (PV) planning and installation services for residential and commercial photovoltaic systems. Sonalis will seamlessly complement and strengthen CONSTELLATION’s platform investment, CONSTELLATION Energy GmbH, where Fortlane Partners also provided Commercial Due Diligence services amid its acquisition in 2023.
The project included an analysis of market size and growth of photovoltaic systems for private and commercial use cases particularly in Luxembourg. Subsequently, Fortlane Partners assessed the regulatory environment and status of national as well as European subsidies, and benchmarked European countries by their energy transition targets to validate the country's commercial attractiveness.
