Scandi Supply, based in Vissenbjerg near Odense, is one of the leading distributors of passive fire protection products in Denmark. The company was founded more than 25 years ago and has a comprehensive portfolio of fire protection products.
With this merger, svt Group of companies continues to drive forward the internationalization of its business in the product sector and is thus strengthening its activities in the Scandinavian market. In recent years, the svt Group of companies has grown strongly in the product area and has driven its European expansion through acquisitions in France, UK, and Norway.
The Commercial Due Diligence comprised a comprehensive analysis of Scandi Supply's business model, unique selling proposition with a focus on its specialized passive fire protection consulting approach, customer portfolio, and financial performance. In addition, the size and development of the addressed market for passive fire protection products in Denmark was analyzed as well as the company's strong competitiveness and differentiation. Finally, the business plan as well as potential synergies through the complementary combination with svt Group were assessed.
